Big Brother 4 also known as Coaches is the fourth broadcasted edition of Big Brother (Discord). After 91 days, the Jury crowned CEmilees as the winner of the game over Lemlynx2008 in a 9-0 vote.
Background
Development
Shortly after the ending of Big Brother 3, production would pick up on the fourth season and begin production. In the early stages of development, it was decided that the season would follow the theme of "Coaches". Four Houseguests that have competed well in their seasons would be called back for the fourth season, to mentor the new 12 Houseguests. For the first three weeks, the Coaches would sit out of the Head of Household and Power of Veto competitions, they couldn't be nominated.
Casting
Days after the end of Big Brother 3, applications for the fourth season were published. It was announced that only twelve Houseguests were being selected to enter, as a result of the four Coaches that have already been chosen prior to the applications opening.
Twists
- Coaches: This season features 12 new Houseguests and 4 returning HouseGuests that were very successful in their own seasons. The returning players are filling the capacity of "coaches". The coaches will live in the Household but are not able to compete in Head of Household and Power of Veto or be nominated.
- Coaches Teams: On the first day, they selected three of the new Houseguests to mentor throughout the season.
Eviction Twists
- Double Eviction: Two weeks of Big Brother would be played out in one session, causing for two Houseguests to be evicted from the Household in one go.
- Instant Eviction: After the Head of Household makes their nominees, it would be revealed that there was no Power of Veto competition, and the nominees were final.
- Playback Eviction: The votes at the live vote and eviction would be switched, and whoever earned the least amount of votes would be evicted instead of the person with the most amount of votes.
